The National Gallery of Victoria is an amazing resource across all curriculum areas for children’s learning. Ask the children on their first visit who owns the NGV and all the art works and they are stunned when they know it is them, the people of Victoria!

There are 2 venues the NGV Australia at Federation Square and NGV International in St Kilda Road. Both easily accessible via public transport and with places and spaces for play, sustenance and reflection.

Education resources are online and excellent, entry is free. If you choose there is a cost per child for a one hour tour related to your inquiry unit or area of interest. Some pre- planning and a visit may meet your needs.
