How can we promote the joy of learning in the current environment, with limited materials?

How can we provide role models so that students can see education empowers and brings change?

What organisation, and interconnections among children, adults and the community can we initiate and develop?

How can we inspire and sustain innovative and creative thought in the lives of these children and in their community?

As teachers, through art making and games we can instil a spirit of collaboration, cooperation, an attitude of optimism and shared values.

As teachers we can build on children’s prior experiences, backgrounds and theories, engage children in studies of a particular topic, draw on their curiosity.

As teachers we can provide opportunities for children to share, discuss and present their ideas.

As teachers we can encourage children to pursue their own questions and develop their own ideas and realise their objectives.

As teachers we can embed learning in literacy and numeracy through play and art.

As teachers we can encourage children to reflect on, represent and document their experiences.

As teachers we can give children the opportunity to share and discuss ideas with others and to make sense of what has been and what is to come.

As teachers we can do this through art making, play and and games.
